Lace Monitor

The Lace Monitor is a reptile that can grow to 165 cms in length. They are black with white and yellow spots. They live in all habitats but only in Australia.

Brushtail Possum

The Brushtail Possum gets its name from its long bushy tail. It is a light grey on top, blending into a silver grey below. Its diet consists of fruit and blossoms.

Pygmy Possum

The Pygmy Possum was first seen alive by Europeans in 1766. It is nocturnal. They live in temperate rainforests to woodlands.

Green Tree Frog

The Green Tree Frog is the only amphibian native to Australia. It is green and it has toe pads which can stick to things. The toe pads help it to climb and jump. It lives where there is water,around houses and water tanks. In the bush it lives near creeks, dams and rivers.

Feathertail Glider

The Feathertail Glider has binocular vision which is an advantage for night gliding. Its colour ranges from greyish-brown to brown to brownish black.They eat nectar,blossoms and small insects.

They live in the South-East region of Queensland.

The Sugar Glider is about 17cms long. It has a black tipped tail and hairless ears. It eats fungi,lerps,manna,honey dew,nectar,spiders and other insects.
