Tawny Frogmouth

The frogmouth is a nocturnal hunter and is insectivorous. They swoop their prey and snap it up in their bill.

Pademelon

The Pademelon is a macropod which means it uses its hind legs to move. They are dusty-greyish brown and have a yellow underbelly. They feed on native grass, berries and leaves. They are found all over Australia.

Tube Nosed Bat

The Tube Nosed Bat is brown and a dark ginger colour with black wings. The bat eats insects and it lives in tropical rainforests and misty mountains. It has a tube nose. It is the rarest mammal recorded in Australia.

Sugar Glider

The Sugar Glider is about 17cms long. It has a black tipped tail and hairless ears. It eats fungi,lerps,manna,honey dew,nectar,spiders and other insects.

Feathertail Glider

The Feathertail Glider has binocular vision which is an advantage for night gliding. Its colour ranges from greyish-brown to brown to brownish black.They eat nectar,blossoms and small insects.
