SOSE, Technology, Science Unit: Virtual Travellers - access to web sites to gather information for a presentation on the migratory habits of birds in the local area. PowerPoint Presentation (oral presentation or computer-based) or an interactive HyperStudio Stack or a simple Web Site.
SOSE, Science, English Unit: Where Does Our Water Go? - (a) a written report on water use in family households. (b) a published brochure to inform the community on ways to conserve water. (c) students design logos and poster illustrations with a paint program.
SOSE, LOTE, HPE, English Unit: Virtual International Dining - (a) published menu (brochure) for a restaurant.
(b) a small web site (put together as group) on international dishes and related culture.
HPE, SOSE, Science  Unit: A Healthier Lifestyle - a 'whole class' published magazine on healthy eating, body image, sporting pursuits and leisure activities.
SOSE, HPE, LOTE Unit: Over Many Seas - (a) email project: a classroom collaboration with schools in other countries. (b) a web site with details of their partner classes and their communities. (c) a spreadsheet of languages spoken in homes to graph percentages. (d) short digital videos of school and community to send to partner schools on CD ROM.
SOSE, English, Science Unit: Student Parliament! - (a) design of stationery/promotional material for Student Parliament with paint and publishing programs. (b)  mind-mapping the make-up of the Student Parliament and the roles played by class members. (c) creating a database of the members. (d) local issue investigations written as specially formatted reports submitted to a Student Parliament sitting for consideration. (e) digital photos and video produced to support issues and proposals for action.
SOSE, Science, Technology  Unit: Our Local Species - (a) a database of local wildlife, which includes text and digital photos/movies/sounds where available.
SOSE, Science, English Unit: Weather Investigators - (a) take part as a class in Project Atmosphere Australia Online for email, web searching for materials about weather, writing and publishing on the web. URL: http://www.schools.ash.org.au/paa 
Science, SOSE Unit: Natural Disasters In our World Today - (a) take part in a teacher-designed web quest which links students to sites to gather information on a natural disaster topic of their choice. (b) students present to class an slide show which includes text, sounds, photos, movies and acknowledgement of all sources.
