An Outcomes Approach
In moving toward an outcomes approach, there can be no
'magic formula' to apply a set of learning experiences which will apply
to all schools. Each school, should in effect, have its own program shaped
in accordance with its mission and the units developed along the lines
of curriculum organisers which
constitute the structure of the school's Curriculum Plan.

If you require to plan/budget
for time release and special provisions for staff to receive Learning
and Development opportunities or to develop units and the overarching
school plan, some indication may be needed in the school ICTs for Learning Agreement. Sample
Agreements which may be used as a starting point are available at the ICTs for Learning web site.

excellent site! *** See

locally developed outcomes-based units of work, which draw upon outcomes
from several syllabus documents in developing inquiry-based students
centred challenges for years 7-10 (under development). Schools
are strongly encouraged to work together and/or share ideas to help each
other on the journey, and we will assist as we can through the Murrumba
District Office. |
