Shorts' - a review by Gary
Holy Shorts by Margaret Clark
The book Holy Shorts is about a boy named Jack he has a dog named Dumpster.
He owned a pair of shorts. At first he didn’t like them but then he realised
they were lucky to him in a way. His parents didn’t think so because they thought that were just plain old normal shorts.
Jack ends up going on a big search for his shorts because mum had donated them to St
Vinnie’s. Then Jack decides to go after school one day but he’s not sure if his shorts are there. So he gives up and decides to go home. He
gets home and turns on the TV. There’s one of these shows where people write
in what they’re missing and the lady tells them where it is. So Jack decides
to give it a go so he writes in that he’s missing his shorts and of course
the lady tells him where it is. She says it is at a Holy place and that place is the old ……………..I can’t tell you, you’ll just have to wait and read
the book for yourself.
The book is probably the best book I have ever read it is extremely funny I would give this book from rating of 10 out of 10.
