'Selby Spacedog' - a review by Sarah

Author: Duncan Ball
Illustrator: Allan Stomann
Publisher: Angus And Robertson,1996

This story is about a talking, writing dog who helps people out and goes on adventures. Though his owners don’t know and his trying to keep it a secret.

I borrowed this book out not knowing what this book was about until I read a couple of chapters. Selby would be a popular character in this story. The story’s about the dog who’s a talking dog and he lives in a house with his owners Dr and Mrs Triffle.

This book has short stories that tells about Selby’s life. These stories are quick and easy to read. This book’s good because it has little stories about Selby and is a little bit different from the other
chapters.

This book is a very exciting and funny book to read. I give this book a rating of 9 out of 10. This book would be good for students year 5 and up. This is a great book.
