We are proud to announce that Bill Condon was a guest on our email list from 19th March until 10th April in 2001. Bill is the author of many great books for children. One of his books has been reviewed by a year 7 student at this web site. What happened? A 'Rap with Bill Condon'! We had a great four weeks with Bill as our guest on email. We introduced our schools to the email list and started reading Bill's books while we got to know each other. We had classes from Petrie, Caboolture East, Ballandean, Kallangur, Minimbah, and Singapore take part. The first 'Rap Point' was about which books of Bill's you enjoyed and a memorable time reading one of Bill's books. The second 'Rap Point' was about what sort of a book you would write, and what the story might be about. There were lots of great ideas! The final challenge was shared story writing, with a starting sentence written by Bill, and schools taking turns at adding sentences.
