For ideas on what to include in a book review, you may follow the suggested topics as listed below:

Characters - did you care about them?

Setting - did you feel like you were really there?

Action or events - were they exciting? Did the characters seem to cause them?

Conflict - could you identify the kinds of conflict?

Language - did you like the way the story was told?

Narration - who did the author select to tell the story?

Imagery - did the author use words that helped you see and feel the pictures and moods?

Have fun and remember to get help from your teacher when setting out to write a book review.

See also the writing of other students for ideas on different ways of writing a book review.

Try to make your review the best and motivate people to read what you have read.
