The files collected on this CD ROM are from a variety of software applications from both PC and MAC platforms.

In the Year Level listings 1-7 and 8-12 there are notes to provide some guidance, however the most specific files requiring special platforms or software are listed here. Many files on the disk are web based and will display equally well in both. Much of the other material will quite happily convert between computer platforms provided similar software is present on the computer on which this CD ROM is being browsed. Due to the short time frame in which this CD was compiled, the tailoring of all files for both platforms was not an option and it is up to the user to tailor their own system to get the most from the samples on the CD ROM. It is hoped the CD will be of great benefit.

Note: Macintosh users are not limited to these files alone. For instance, Windows Microsoft Office files of Word, Excel, PowerPoint will convert across into the same applications on Macintosh, provided Office versions do not conflict. It is up to the user to tailor the software on the host computer to enable conversion. Web-based materials will present no difficulty and open in Windows or Macintosh systems.
