When writing a book review for the ‘Boom’ project, follow these simple guidelines. Include in your review:
  • Title of the book
  • Author of the book
  • What was good about the book?
  • Your recommendations - who would enjoy it?

Your review should be no longer than 300 words.

Short of ideas or don’t know where to start? Go to the Talking About Books page at this site.

There you will suggestions for how to talk or write about books.

Where else can you get help? Teachers, friends, or look at some of the reviews at the 'Boom' web site for ideas. It is important, though, not to copy the work of other students at this web site.

We are going to leave it up to individual students as to how they present their reviews for inclusion at this web site, to allow for creative flair in the writing process and provide more variety in the reviews on display.

We hope you enjoy writing reviews and reading the reviews other students have written.
