2003: Stick Insect Baby Diary available for download.

2003: ABC 'Behind the News' visits Narangba Valley SHS to film the Stick Insects and interview students.  View some photos.

October-November-December: Stick Insect eggs from space begin to hatch and a diary of the study commenced - Totally Wild TV show do a return visit for a story. Articles being written for Education Views, NASA.

July-August: ARIA-5 plans underway.  Schools between Bundaberg and Brisbane.

May - June: TV show hosts, newspaper reporters, local council visit schools visit schools to report what is going on. Articles in journals, news and a feature on Totally Wild TV show.

May: Native seeds, bush tucker seeds planted and are being cared for. There is a long germination time, so watch this page for news.

May: Schools identified for next round of shuttle experiments - ARIA 5, 2004? Schools beyond Murrumba District included.

March: Experiments arrive back in Australia and a welcome home is planned for March 14th at Murrumba District Office, 3.30 pm. Contact Sel Kerans if interested in attending.

February: USA teachers and children from a partner school visit NASA at Wallops Island to unpack the space experiments! They will take them back to Washington University, to be sent home to Australia.

January: Shuttle returns and our experiments are unloaded!

December 6th 2001: Shuttle Endeavour lifts off with our experiments!

December 2001: Shuttle launch delayed.

November 2001: Shuttle launch date confirmed for 29th November!

October - November 2001: Regular email updates re the shuttle launch.

October 2001: Flight souvenirs - patches arrive in Australia.

September 2001: Extra security planned to surround shuttle launch following attacks on USA

September 2001: TV Appearance - Stick Insect Eggs on Totally Wild TV!

August - September 2001: Local newspapers run stories of the Shuttle Flight experiments.

July 2001 onwards: USA partner schools involved in experiments.  

July 2001: First photos on Showcase page.

June 2001: St Joseph's page updated with lots of new photos.

June 2001: Pages of schools' experiments updated!

June 2001: Experiments Arrive in USA for shuttle journey!

May 2001: News articles and TV appearances planned for Australian schools involved in the Aria-3 project.

May 2001: Australian schools come up with a project logo for T-shirts and promotion of the Aria-3 program! Take a look! Thanks Dakabin SHS for the effort here.

May 2001: Download the current proposal for what is to occur!

May 2001: Names of USA partner schools added to schools listing alongside their Australian partner schools! Thanks Keith Bennett for the organisation of this!

April 2001: The first meeting of schools to be held at Dakabin SHS, Tuesday 10th April commencing 3.30 pm. See the District Map for its location if unsure.

April 2001: School pairings between Australian and USA to commence soon!

March 2001: The shuttle mission confirmed and our experiments will need to be there by June! The canisters for experiments are soon on their way to Australia!

March 2001: Meetings being held in schools to coordinate the process.

March 2001: Unofficial news of acceptance of submission to NASA! Looks like Australian schools are set to go for experiments on the next shuttle!
