I've seen TILT sweep through schools- outcomes? Most of the trained teachers remain at the same level they went in at. My question to TA's has been "What about Teachers with advanced skills- what is there for us?" In a nutshell- nothing! No support to promote your skills, to increase your skills and so on. No Departmental support to purchase new technologies to keep at the cutting edge. Almost a case of, 'just sit back and wait for the majority to catch up'. Well if I took that attitude with my class students I would be cause for concern! Anyone?
