The partner project to PAA Online, 'Project Atmosphere Australia' has long been involved in supporting teachers by bringing them together for training opportunities and producing resources for teachers to use in the classroom.

Major players in the project's activities have been from the Bureau of Meteorology, The Cooperative Research Centre for Southern Hemisphere Meteorology, Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society and representatives of state education systems.

Project Atmosphere Australia Online seeks to extend the project activities onto the web and into classrooms to support teachers and develop a real love for learning about the weather in young children and adolescents. To achieve this, we seek to develop a rich, cross curricular range of learning experiences into many activities which are free and accessible to classrooms around the world. The range of activities and support for teachers is growing!
