Introduction

Surfing Sally'Surfing' Sally says, "I wonder if the water swirling down the bottle in a tornado/whirlpool effect (in the tornado in a bottle activity) is how it looks inside my mouth when I am guzzling soft drink straight from the bottle."

Simple, Fun Classroom Activities

There are many weather-concept related activities for the classroom that are lots of fun and very useful, especially when there is limited access to computers or the internet for students.

This page will link to useful ideas and resources for teachers in a way similar to that of the page where Making Simple Instruments is the focus.

You are invited to send in pictures of any classroom activities (with instructions) for inclusion on these pages, or make web pages of your own which we can link to from here. Photos attached to email as 'jpeg' files are the most convenient way of contribution.
