Case Study: Adelaide Aquatic Regions
Central Idea:
Humans have impacted on the aquatic environment of rivers and beaches.
Scenario:
Your cousins, who are moving to South Australia, are going to start up a new business. There are three possibilities:
  1. An almond farm on the banks of the Murray River near Swan Reach
  2. A Cafe near the River Torrens in central Adelaide
  3. A restaurant on the beach front of metropolitan Adelaide
Being environmentally conscious they want to know what water issues need to be considered (problems, causes, solutions) before making a decision. You want them to move here to be closer but you support their desire to protect the environment for your own children's future.
Task:
Create a presentation that will convince others that YOUR water environment is the one to choose. The main focus of your persuasive presentation is the clarity of the issues involved and strength of your solutions for a better future.
