A long time ago there was a lady who loved dancing around the campfire. Every boy loved her dancing and wanted to marry her but she didn't let them because she did not love them. There was a mean man called Wolldinga who wanted to marry her the most. He followed her wherever she went. The other men that wanted to marry her secretly told her to stay at the campfire and not to run away.

But one day she was dancing her way out of camp and Wolldinga followed her and put a spell on her to make her fall asleep. Later she woke up and found herself as a Brolga. Soon she started to cry because she thought that she could never dance again. So she got up and tried to dance and she realized that she could.
