Once there was a kangaroo and a wombat. One night there was a storm. The kangaroo went into wombat's hut. The wombat pushed the kangaroo into a corner which had a crack at the top. The rain came down on kangaroo. The kangaroo got angry and hit wombat on the head with a hard rock.

One day when kangaroo was eating wombat threw a spear at the back of the kangaroo. Kangaroo pulled and pulled but could not get it out. The spear stayed attached to the kangaroo and this formed his tail.
