The class discussed the symbolism of the Aboriginal flag and the children all agreed that it was a suitable flag to represent the wonderful and valuable things of this culture. However they then decided that could design a new flag for Aboriginal people based on their knowledge of what is important in their culture. They were used the rules of Dreaming stories and considered including this information into their design.
