- Open a word processing
document.
- Type the first 2 paragraphs of the
story of the three little pigs or open a file prepared
earlier.
- Highlight the second paragraph,
select Copy from the Edit menu (or COMMAND C).

- Place the cursor under the second
paragraph and select Paste from the edit menu (or COMMAND
V).
- Place the cursor under the third
paragraph and Paste again.

- Edit the second and third paragraph
to correct the story.

- From the Edit menu, select
Find/Change. In the dialogue box type pig
in the Find box and the name of any animal in the Change
box.

- Either click Find Next then Change,
or click Change All. If using Change All, make sure the
word being changed is not "hidden" inside a bigger word.
eg If you change he to she, there
will become tshere.

- Try changing house to
mansion or castle
or .., wolf to
debt collector or ..,
little to ugly
etc.
- Have students write an appropriate
ending after all the changing.
