- Open MicroWorlds and select the
Drawing Centre tool
 .
- Select the pencil from the drawing
options. Select a colour and pencil thickness.
- Draw a background using the pencil
and fill tools.
- Use the Hatch Turtle tool
to add several turtles to the page.
- Use the Stamp tool
to change the shape of the turtles to pictures of known
words.
- Use the Enlarge or Shrink tool to
change the size of the pictures and move them to an
appropriate place in the picture.
- Use the Text tool
to create a text box. Type words to match the match
pictures. The text can be formatted using the font and
size menus.
- Select SNAPTEXT from the Gadgets menu
to hide the white box.
- Click on each word and move to the
correct picture.
- Print the final product.
The same process can be used to add sentences to a
picture.
