- Use a digital camera to
capture a photo of each child.
- (Teacher task) Connect
camera to the computer and download the images to a class
folder on a server or to a disk..
- Open Kid Pix and from
the FILE menu select OPEN A PICTURE.
- Navigate to the folder
on the server or disk where the photo files were
saved.
- Select center
(explain American spelling) then OK.
- Select the straight line
tool, colour and line thickness and draw a frame around
the photo (hold down shift to keep the lines
straight).
- Use the typewriter to
add personal details as needed.
- Use known tools to
decorate.
- Print.
