About Us
We are a team of students who are designing a web site on the history of the district that we live in. We are all students at Chaffey Secondary College Mildura. (www.chaffeysc.vic.edu.au)
We have created this website for many reasons, we enjoy doing this, we would like to share the history of Mildura and the Chaffey Brothers with everybody (particularly aimed at teenagers as that is who has made it) and most of all for the web designing competition, Web Challenge 2000. (www.learning21.org)
The members of our team and what they did were:

What I think is going to happen to Mildura in the future.
I think it will keep growing to become of the largest cities in country Australia. It's a good place for everything - especially families and older people who would like to retire here. There is good shopping and job opportunities. Mildura is expanding down 15th Street. There are important wineries in this area and this is growing export for Australia.

What I think is going to happen to Mildura in the future.
I think that Mildura will grow to be the largest tourist town in Australia. I think this will happen we have lots of opportunities, the place has great weather which attracts more people and tourists than most other destinations. There are also many new job oppportinities in the area which is also very attracting to most people looking for jobs.

What I think will happen to Mildura in the future.
It is againts my beliefs to guess at the future (in other words I don't have a clue about what will happen). However, I reckon there will be a lot of work to make this a better city in wich to live. I believe Mildura will become a lot more like Melbourne (Victorias Capital) with lots of shops and trading. I see 'Valve' and 'Id Software' ruling the world with great computer programs that are best found.

What I think will happen to Mildura in the future.
Mrs James: Mildura has a sunny future. It is one of the few provincial towns in Victoria that is actually growing . The suburbs of Mildura are expanding and eating into farmland close to town. Several innovative businesses are here, much in the tradition of the Chaffey Brothers, that are using high tech to improve export potential for local produce. The future of Mildura relies on the health or the Murray RIver and finding a solution to the salinity problem.
