Year 1M and 1T are learning all about animals this term. Firstly we spent 4 weeks talking about Australian animals, looking closely at possums, wombats, emus and koalas. We even had a visit from Ranger Chris!

Next, we are going to learn all about what lives on the ocean and how we use the ocean! We are having a visit from the Navy in Week 5.

To finish our term we will look at farm animals and farming.

On Friday, 3 May, 2002, Years 1M and 1T went on an excursion to Daisy Hill Koala Sanctuary to see some of these cuddly creatures up close and learn more about one of our unique native animals. Here's some photos from their trip.
