Introducing French Cookeryeiffel tower image

France is the country of love and cuisine, or as you may say, love of the cuisine.

French food wasn't always as perfect as it seems today, in early times times it was over spiced and very heavy. Not the kind of food you travel to taste. Until 1533 French cooking remained this way. When Catherine de Miesis arrived with her army of Florentine cooks and they introduced a series of delicacies to the French cuisine. The next famous chef to sweep over the French people introduced the basis for the basic, but delicious French sauces. After a long line of famous cooks continuously improving French cooking came one cook who completely revolutionized French food. His name was Careme. Careme introduced a new awareness of "delicacy, order and economy", and a freshness in the French kitchen. From this French cuisine has risen to be one of the most exotic European cuisines of the western world.
