
3 medium salad onions 1 cucumber 3 tbsp bread crumbs salt and pepper to taste 4 tbsp vinegar
Peel both onions and cucumber, then slice them as thin as possible, arranging them in a salad bowl using alternate layers. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. In the layer lay thin layers of bread crumbs between each of the onion and cucumber layers. Dress with vinegar and chill until very cold.
