Spendido Dessert di Noci (Luxury Nut Dessert)

What you need:

175 g ground nutsspoons image

175 g sugar

175 g chocolate, grated

4 eggs, separated

5 ml vanilla essence (extract)

2.5 ml cinnamon

2.5 nutmeg

50 g candied peel

2.5 ml butter

50 g chopped nuts

What to do:

Blend the ground nuts, sugar and grated chocolate in a bowl and mix in the egg yolks. Add the vanilla essence, cinnamon and nutmeg and stir well. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture. Gradually mix in the candied peel. Butter an overproof dish and sprinkle with the chopped nuts. Pour the mixture into the dish and bake at 180 C for 25 minutes. Serve hot.
