Year 6 It has been a very busy semester and we have participated in some excellent activities including a visit to Brisbane. Sporting highlights have included participation in the interschool sports. Many students played against their old schools and enjoyed winning! We all participated in the Cross country and Swimming carnival. Several students also went on to represent the school.

Year 4 Discovery of our Local area was the focus of term two for the year four students. We had an excursion around the Robina Town Centre. Visiting the fire station, train station, shopping centre and the library. We had a camp at Burleigh Heads Youth Camp. For most of the students, this was their first camp. We stayed in cabins and slept in bunk beds. The activities we did were bush walking, canoeing, sand sculptures, nipper training and science. Camp was great! Everybody enjoyed it and we got to know each other really well but we were very exhausted by the time we went home.

Year 5 We had to choose a type of aircraft then research it and write a report and explanation about our choice of aircraft. We learnt how shapes and designs of aeroplanes are very important. The exciting and fun part was making a model of our chosen aircraft. When the models, reports, and explanation writing had been completed an aircraft expo. Was held and parents came to see all of the models, reports and explanation writing. There were many different types of model aircraft at the expo from hot air balloons to planes of the future.
