At Varsity College each class has technology for one and a half hours per week.  In this time we learn how to use computers.  We are taught basic skills using Microsoft Office 2000, Encarta, and other software.  We have some maths games we really like!

We use P.C.'s

There are sixty computers in two labs, and two computers in every classroom.  All teachers have one in their office.  We don't have any Apple computers.

This year we learnt basic skills as well as research for our rich tasks.  For more information about  rich tasks see our
Curriculum page.

So far, we have made PowerPoint presentations, title pages, posters, cards, tables, spreadsheets and word documents.

We learnt how to import our own pictures so we can use them in our work.  We also learn how to use digital
cameras.

The students in the preparatory school use KidPix to draw pictures, make slideshows and story books.
