PLANNING
When you make a website you have to start by writing a plan. Having a written plan makes it easier and quicker.
DESIGN
Colour
We chose a colour that matched our school colours.
Titles and Text
We chose a font that we thought looked good and was easy to read.
Background
We think our background blends with our page without making the text too hard to read.
Pictures and Animations
It's important to add some pictures and animation to make your site interesting. They should match your writing and your theme. You should remember that lots of big pictures will take a lot of time to download.
Hyperlinks
Hyperlinks should be obvious to your audience.
Frames
Make sure your animations or text boxes do not overlap. If they do your animated objects will not work properly.
WEB DESIGN TOOLS
We used Microsoft publisher as none of us have designed a web page before. It is a good programme for beginners.
