Hi! We are the diary group - Amy, Mandy, Grace, Jessica and Gordon. We have to tell you how we made this web site.
Day 1
Today we got into our groups. We discussed what topics we were doing . [ step 1 - What do we need to know?]
Days 2 & 3....... We learnt how to use the Internet and how to use other places to find information. [ step 2 - Where do We find useful information?] We revised how to use the Internet and worked out who was going to go on the computers first.
Day 4......... We started [ step 3 - Finding useful information] finding information on our topic and writing down useful bits of information
Day 5......... Continued our computer work and writing. Our group is making a data base of sources that other groups are using to find information.
Days 6 to 8 ..... Groups continued finding useful information and started Step 4 - making rough drafts and drawing pictures. The Homepage group is making a WordSearch and a dictionary of important desert keywords.
Days 9 to 10 ... Groups are in Step 5 - presenting their work on the computer. People type text and use the digicamera to take photos of their artwork. It all goes together to make a web in a program called FrontPage
