How We Made Our Web Site
Hi we are the diary group. We are Christian,Mark,James,Jentri and Kahlum.We are here to tell you how 5Ba’s class found their information on Australia’s history.
Lesson 1 2/5/97
*We got organised into groups. *We learned a skill. This was about finding out information we need. *We revised all the steps that we’ll need to do to complete our research. *Each group organised a folder to keep their work in. Lesson 2 9/5/97
*We learnt step 2, where can I find useful information. *We learnt a skill, the skill was how to find information on the computer quickly using a boolean search.*Group 6 learnt how to use the digi camera. they are the only group allowed to use it unsupervised at the moment. *We learnt how to use the encyclopaedia to find information.
Lesson 3 16/5/97
*We learnt how to find info on the Internet. *We learnt the Internet password and user name *We learnt how all the computers were linked and how the Internet works.
Lesson 4 23/5/97
*We learnt how to find info and use info by note taking - using the read, cover, remember, write method. *We learnt how to use a computer data base to record resources used. *We were told how to not break the law of copyright.
Lesson 5 30/5/97
*We learnt how to start an existing file. *We moved onto step 4, Note taking. *Groups 2-5 learnt how to do black line drawings so the digi camera gets a better photo of them after colouring them in.
Lesson 6 6/6/97
*5Ba learnt how to use M.S. Works *We learnt and started step 5 how to present your work* On works we learnt how to go to existing documents, and new documents. *We learnt not to be photocopiers.
Lesson 7 5/9/97
*We revised not to be photocopiers and copy straight from the book computer etc. *Everyone is now on step 5 how to present your work. *We learnt what everyone else is doing in their groups.
