Bass Straight
Bass Straight is a very dangerous strip of water because the winds called the "Roaring Forties" blow cold Antarctic air through. Bass Straight separates Victoria from Tasmania. King Island and Flinders Island are the two main islands. They are both surrounded by shipwrecks.
