Gumnut is Yandina's little Travel Buddy and is getting ready to go on his trip to visit new friends in Canada and New Zealand. The Yandina children have been corresponding with students at Langdale Elementary School on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia Canada and with students at Lord Byng School in Richmond B.C. Gumnut will spend time with these children and learn about their life and times.
Mrs Hughes shows Rikki, Sarah and Gumnut where Vancouver is in Canada. This will be Gumnuta's first stop in Canada.
Kody, Susan Rikki and Joel took Gumnut back to the Koala Kottage at the Ginger Factory so that he could say goodbye to all of his koala friends before he left on his holiday.
